Many years ago one lab mistake was the cause for humans to acquire super powers and it also awoke creatures such as werewolves, vampires and demons, who were known to be just fictional and gave them Powers as well. With this Umbrella Academy was born, or Hell hole as it is currently known among the students. The main purpose of the school was to keep all the gifted teenagers and creatures as far away from society as possible, in the Academy they learned about their powers and how to use them for good. The school was runned by a group of people, one from each species in order to keep all decisions as unbiased as possible. However one George Draven thought differently, he believed there should be one person and one only running the school and the demon took it upon himself to be that leader and thus by killing the other members who were "in charge" he was the first mark Umbrella Academy's bloody history.
Draven believed the only way bad seeds will ever succeed in life, would be if they had an authoritarian government that watched their every move, such authority he was more than happy to provide in his marvelous and prestigious school. On his deathbed 67 year old George Draven, finally baptized the school as "Umbrella Academy: Reform school for gifted troubled teens" and that it has remained. Now the school holds all type of kids from the drug addict boy to the suicidal girl. They all have one thing in common, if it weren't for the school they would either be dead, in juvie or in rehab. The school also has a reputation of being quite elegant and classy, from the top notch accommodations to holding one of the best staff in the world. The reputation was so great, kids who were taken out from abusive and horrible households and kids who had no parents or family left were sent here until the police could figure out what to do with them.
However the whole perfect school that helps out children is merely a facade, a mask that hides one of the biggest sadistic groups around. Venus Doom, this group of radicals believes the only way the kids would actually change their ways is if their lives are put to the test, their motto is "helping others, help themselves". This group of sadist grabs the students and puts them through "test" or "games" if the student is able to pass, then they are reborn in a way and now they are capable of taking full advantages of what the school has to offer. However if they fail, they perish in one of the most gruesome and brutal ways possible. What's worse is that the members of Venus Doom are none other than Staff and some selected students, most parents are unaware of this group and those who are send their kids anyways, just so they don't have to deal with them.
To any future student heed these warning: The rules are simple but the consequences of breaking them are great. Don't trust anyone, for even the walls have eyes and ears, with the being said. Let the games begin!
